What the finalist announcement means
Being named a finalist means an independent panel chose Ayurvedic Wellness Centre as one of the top businesses in Waverley this year.
Waverley Council created the Brightest & Best Business Awards to recognise the businesses that make the area a better place to live, work and shop. Every business inside the Waverley local government area can enter, whether it runs a shopfront or works from home.
Other finalists in the Beauty & Cosmetic Services category are Laser by Tom, Melt Nail Bar, Sage Beauty, and The One Bondi. We’re proud to be listed alongside such respected businesses.
You might spot Ayurvedic Wellness Centre in print and online soon. Finalists are featured in The Beast Magazine, on Waverley Council’s digital channels, and on printed flyers with a QR code that links straight to the voting page.
How to vote in the People’s Choice Award
Voting happens on the Have Your Say Waverley website, and it is open to everyone in the community. If you would like to help Ayurvedic Wellness Centre, voting takes only takes about a minute:
- Open the Brightest & Best Business Awards People’s Choice Award voting page.
- Scroll through the finalist list and select Ayurvedic Wellness Centre.
- Submit your vote before 11:59 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Waverley Council is running a prize draw to thank voters. Everyone who votes has a chance to win one of five $100 Westfield vouchers. Winners will be contacted by email after voting closes.

How the final round of judging works
In August and September 2026, an independent mystery shopping company will visit each finalist. These visits help decide the winners in each category.
A mystery shopper visits just like any regular client. They go through the booking, consultation, and treatment the same way you do, but anonymously.
Your experience stays the same. The care you get on any ordinary day is exactly what the judges see, just as it should be.
What happens on awards night at Bondi Pavilion
Waverley Council will announce all category winners, including the People’s Choice Award, at the Brightest & Best Business Awards Night at Bondi Pavilion on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Each finalist gets a complimentary ticket, with official invitations arriving in mid-September 2026. Extra tickets will be available for purchase from late September for anyone who wants to join.
